OUR PORTFOLIO

(SCROLL DOWN IF YOU ARE JUST LOOKING FOR A LIST)

I’m not big on name-dropping.  I take pride in the work I do, not who I do it for.  I don’t think there is any more prestige saying I work with some of the top CPG companies in the world than there is saying I helped a small-time inventor launch her first product.

Both have their own challenges and rewards.

Large companies have lots of smart, highly-paid people with access to even more resources.  But they also tend to have power structures and political maneuvering that works against delivering great work.  They can be constrained by best practices and have no intention or ability to implement our best ideas.

Small clients can have extremely limited budgets and too many holes in their plans to know what to address first.  Emotional decision making tends to play a bigger role while creative ideas are more likely to be embraced because there is no ‘here is how we did it last time.’  Working with small companies brings with it the satisfaction of being the underdog and having a chance to out-maneuver the big guys.

I never mention the specific clients that I’ve worked on, so don’t ask. However, here is a partial list of the retail channels, topics and categories in my portfolio:

Yes, if you got this far and were counting, you noticed I only included about 75 categories compared to the 200 categories I claim to have worked on.  The list is abbreviated for two reasons:

  1. To preserve the identify of certain confidential clients

  2. Many departments are mentioned where I've done work across numerous sub-categories (i.e. diapers and wipes are two categories under baby care).
